Carnival Liberty's outside movie screen

Recommended Posts

If you have been on the Carnival Liberty, can you tell me how recent are the movies shown on the outside movie screen?

Are they relatively new movies still shown at the movie theaters?

Or are they older movies that you would find at the video store?

Thanks for the info.:)

We saw:

Cars

Talladega Nights

The Guardian (With Kevin Costner)

It was awesome watching movies outside in the evening. We loved it.

So relaxing and a great thing for families for something to do.

They show concerts during the dinner hour. We saw Tom Jones, Cher and Tina Turner. Yes, Tina and Cher are retired now, but these concerts were fun to watch!

Hope this helps!

If I rememeber correctly when we sail it was a mixture of new DVD releases and movies that were recently finished in the theater but not yet released on DVD but "coming soon".

On the initial voyage of The Liberty, they showed Titanic. That WAS hilarious.

Unfortunately, the quality of the films shown is about the same as that on the airlines.

Although once, the room TVs were playing Man On Fire with Denzel Washington, and that was before it had made it to DVD. Maybe they got a pirate copy when they stopped off in China.

We saw Rocky Horror Picture Show (11:30 showing, 1/2 hour early :D ).

I think that's been out of theaters for a few years now...

By the way, it was so much fun to embarrass my daughter. Many other parents were doing the same:eek:
