Imperial Hotel Copenhagen

Has anyone stayed at this hotel recently? How was it?

This hotel has a wonderful location just a 5 min. walk from the town hall square and it is located next door from Vesterport S-Train station if you want to venture the castles of northern Zealand or somewere else.

 

If you take the train trip out of the city, a very good Ice Cream shop in Elsinore has been recommended by others and Kronborg slot (hamlets castle) and a maritime museum is also placed in Elsinore.

 

Also nearby is the Fredensborg (home of the Crown prince and Princess) and Frederiksborg castle in Hillerød.

Thank you Viking - how close is this hotel to Tivoli? Do you have any info on the service at this hotel? What I've been able to find on the internet has not been terribly positive.

Tivoli is max. 5 minutes away.

 

The hotel is on the blue dot.

I can´t comment on the service because im living in Copenhagen and don´t have the need to sleep in a hotel, but the hotel has just been renovated last spring with new beddings and bathrooms so if the rewievs are bad that could be the reason for that.
