mrscrab Posted June 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2007 We are booked on our second Silversea cruise this year - Tower Bridge to Barbados leaving London September 20th. Has anyone sailed similar waters - we arrive Barbados October 6th. Just wondering mainly in the clothing department, what to take. The Atlantic could be choppy as could the Bay of Biscay. Would welcome any comments. Thanks.
kathe Posted June 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2007 We will be with you on this cruise.I am packing 1/3 fall for London and Bay of Biscay and 2/3 summer. We are crossing on the southern route which is much smoother than the northern,or so they say.Our only real problem could be hurricane weather but we shall be postive! This is our 1st Silversea cruise but our 31st cruise overall and our 6th Crossing.Kathe
mrscrab Posted June 15, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted June 15, 2007 Thankyou for your reply, You should love Silversea - we do as you can imagine. Flying from Perth to London is 24 hours so if this isn't proof nothing will be! Look forward to hopefully meeting you on board - I don't know if many Australians are booked on this cruse or not.
