Southbound on Summit formal night question

If you have done the southbound route on the Summit, could you please tell us which nights are formal nights? We want to prebook a night at the specialty restaurant on a night that is not a formal night.

I just got back from the Summit going north bound today-- so I am not for sure -- but on ours in was the second night and the next to the last night that were formal--- not many tuxedos but all the guys seems to have suits on and the ladies wore long dresses, cocktail dress and some very fancy black pants with cocktail type blouses.

We took Summit last summer to Alaska and I rented men's formal attire through the ship. I wouldn't bother to do it again. I'd say no more than 1/3 of the men went formal, others had suits or just sportcoats. Next cruise I'll just bring a sportcoat.
