Days Inn on Canal Street in New Orleans??

I know we sound cheap, but there are alot of us and some are on a tighter budget than others, we thought a cheaper hotel would mean an extra day in NO.

 

I understand from the hotel the street car is up and running and we can use that to get to the FQ, parking is free right now but in Oct. when we will be there it might be $14. not to bad.

 

Does anyone know anything about this hotel? I know we have a few locals on here, any advise?

This is not a good hotel. Friends of mine stayed their a few years ago. Really bad. Pay the extra money and get somewhere safer and better.

Not a good location, I would not stay at this hotel.
