sas80 Posted June 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2007 We will be taking our 10-month-old on a Royal Caribbean cruise and we're wondering whether we should bring bottled water for his rice cereal, or if we can trust the ship's tap water. What's everyone's opinions?

SelectSys Posted June 18, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2007 It is most likely distilled from sea water and perfectly pure. The only problem would be if somehow the ship's fresh water system got contaminated with something external. I am sure it get checked almost continuously. Kerry's Girls Posted June 18, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2007 You won't have any trouble using the ship's tap water. I fed it to my babies with no trouble. Best, Mia
mkiwi20 Posted June 18, 2007 #7 Share Posted June 18, 2007 We always use bottled water at home, but used tap on the ship. My son who never spits up, spit up at least 3-5x a day the whole cruise. I don't know if it was the water, the motion of the ship, or what not.. but next time we'll just bring our own bottled water.
