Rare arxcards Posted June 19, 2007 #11 Share Posted June 19, 2007 Found a link to this site: http://www.coastalwatch.com/camera/cameras_large.aspx?cam=2790&state=NSW&t=7:39:02%20AM Provides a live view web cam pointed at the ship in newcastle. Keep watching today for the 12m waves they have predicted to be pounding it. Local forcasts have listed seas to be up to 7 metres tomorrow morning, but according to local surf report guru, Dave Anderson, waves at the beach are around 1\2 the size of the sea at that magnitude. Still rough 4 metre waves are expected to give the Pasha a fair bashing and will make for interesting viewing, especially with a southerly swell. This swell will hit the Pasha square on and send a lot of spray up over the decks. There have been renewed concerns about the risk of the ship breaking up in the media here today. Certainly hope not! (The seas were up to 17 metres when it ran aground) Cheers,
