Galveston Lighthouse Parking - car cover?

I think I have decided to use Galveston's Lighthouse parking. My question is this: They charge $10.00 more for covered parkng. Has anyone ever done this? Is it worth the ten dollars to cover your car? I'd just hate to pay for it and it be some rinky dink sheet metal... :) I've never done this before so just curious! Thanks for your help!

I'm also using Lighthouse this time instead of EZ. I'm not so sure that they are offering covered parking, but rather a car cover.;) It's probably worth a phone call if you are concerned. I'll be driving my daily beater, so for me it's a non-issue.
