mamahugs Posted August 15, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2004 Anyone been to Bermuda mid November? How's the weather there...is the water warm enough for swimming? Also how's the sailing condition from NY to Bermuda at that time? Was it rock and rolling, real cold and etc? Thanks for the response.
w770496 Posted August 19, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2004 Can anyone help? The Voyager 11/13/05 sailing is very cheap ($688 inside for 2). I think it is past prime hurricane season. Anyone been there in Nov?

w770496 Posted August 19, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2004 Thanks Rich, when I saw $688 for two, I just could not resist to go back again.
jerseygirl3 Posted August 30, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 30, 2004 Seeing as the average temp is 71 degrees in November, I would think that would be a little chilly for swimming.
loisagogo Posted September 1, 2004 #6 Share Posted September 1, 2004 we're looking at the same cruise but I'm scared to book because of it being in November. I'm sure Bermuda would be fine but what about the seas out of New Jersey. Need some more opinions. The price can't be beat and I would love to just go to get the experience on the Voyager. If nothing else, we could enjoy the ship.
Jerrudy Posted September 3, 2004 #7 Share Posted September 3, 2004 I'm taking the gamble on great weather! Just booked, couldn't resist the great price for a balcony room.....Have to agree with "loisagogo", it seems worth it just to enjoy the ship. Host Kewlguy Posted September 17, 2004 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2004 We were swimming in Bermuda in May when the water was much colder than it will be in November. My wife was cold at first but after awhile that I kept her in the water she was fine. We had ALOT of fun that day. Had the beach all to ourselves. I know the locals thought we were nuts but I never said I wasn't.
Jerrudy Posted September 20, 2004 #9 Share Posted September 20, 2004 Is anyone else going on this cruise. Just wondering if I started a roll call, if I would get a party started. Maybe its a little too soon?
w770496 Posted September 20, 2004 #10 Share Posted September 20, 2004 Sure. I am on the 11/13/05 cruise. Did you get in on their pricing mistake?
LJLB6 Posted September 21, 2004 #11 Share Posted September 21, 2004 I'm curious---what was their pricing mistake? What bargain did I miss?
Jerrudy Posted September 21, 2004 #12 Share Posted September 21, 2004 Oh that was a mistake? It was something like $320 for an inside cabin and $400 for a balcony! Its corrected now.
w770496 Posted September 21, 2004 #13 Share Posted September 21, 2004 I got a D2 Balacony for $800 for two. They aslo had insides for $700 for two. Now I hope I get a C&A coupon to also apply!
Jerrudy Posted September 21, 2004 #14 Share Posted September 21, 2004 We also have a D2 balcony and it was the same price! If it was a mistake, can they change it now? Also, check the roll call board I'm trying to get something going over there.
MariTenor1 Posted October 15, 2004 #15 Share Posted October 15, 2004 We will be also be cruising to Bermuda in November, 2005, but we won't make it there until November 22nd! We stay docked overnight and have 2 days in Kings Wharf. Does anyone know if we can get on and off the ship all night?
Swizzle Posted October 18, 2004 #16 Share Posted October 18, 2004 Good afternoon everyone. I live in Bermuda and like the poster Bermuda-Longtail I'm a foreign worker, not a native Bermudian, but I should be able to help out with most Bermuda questions. The website to go to for Bermuda weather info is www.weather.bm . If you click on "climate data" you'll be able to access monthly weather statistics for up to 3 or 4 years ago. These stats will show you the average temperaure each day and over the month, rain, sea temperature and so on. For those of you planning a November trip just click on a couple of previous Novembers and it'll give you a good idea of what kind of temperatures you can expect.
