Cruising out of Cape Liberty, what can you see?

Are you able to see the NYC skyline and Statue of Liberty when cruising out of Cape Liberty? We will be on the Explorer and wondering if these will be visible. I think they will be but just wanted to make sure.

Yes you will see the sky line you are just on the New Jersey side. You will sail past the Statue of Liberty and under the Varazano narrows bridge. Have a greta cruise.

The Explorer does not go past the Statue Of Liberty. The port is just a bit to far south.

i don't think you'll be sailing...like...right next to it...but surely it can be seen. i mean you are basically right there.

You can see the both the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline from a distance but you don't sail anywhere near either.

You will see the Statue of Liberty and the the skyline while you are still in port. It was so foggy when we left on 6/8, you couldn't see much of anything.

Does the Explorer use the same port as Princess line? Will my view on the Grand be the same or different? Carole

I believe Princess leaves from Brooklyn, Red Hook. Royal Caribbean sails from Bayonne NJ. I am not sure what you will see when leaving on Princess.
