rodan Posted June 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2007 In a couple of weeks we will be disembarking from our cruise ship in Amsterdam. We will have 2 large suitcases and 2 carry-ons. Can we get them on the tram to Dam Square? We are staying at the Hotel Krasnapolsky. If not what is the charge for a taxi from the cruise terminal to our hotel in Dam Square? Thanks, Irwin

Thanks, Irwin I suggest you look at the tramstop (nr.25) at the cruise-terminal how busy/how quiet it is. The tram will likely fill up from Centraal Station, which is just 1 stop before Dam/Krasnapolsky, so it should be possible. But please keep an eye on all your belongings during the ride!! I just heard that taxis at the cruiseterminal are sometimes asking more then normal for the rides. ...So it will be between Eur. 10 - Eur. 15.-, but check with the driver. It is a ride of less then 10 minutes.
