What's the best way to book Windstar?

I just returned from a fabulous week on the WindSurf--Venice to Rome. Our travel agent was able to get an A cabin for B rates-but that was almost a year before we sailed. We also had some lovely perks while on board. It is pricey and worth every cent. Imagine going thru security to board the ship and you are the only ones going thru. You get on board and there are no lines to register and be escorted to your cabin immediately. It is the opposite of the behemoths and so very civil.

I've used 2 internet agencies for booking cruises (12 or so) in the past, and thought both did a fine job.

I booked my first Windstar cruise, Costa Rica January 2007, through one of these agencies, then booked my 2nd one, Wind Spirit January 2008, directly with Windstar as it was an alum cruise that seemed to be selling out fast and only one date worked for me. With the Foremast rate, it seemed a good price.

For future reference, I'd like to know the on-line agencies you posters have used specifically for Windstar, resulting in better rates than the Foremast rates, and "perks" as well such as shipboard credit.

My email is freda@whidbey.com.

Thanks!
