Obstructed view cabins on Jewel class ships

Looking at the deck plans for the obstructed view cabins on deck 8, it looks like cabins numbers 8550,52, 54 and 8050,52, and 54 are not blocked by any boats. Does anyone know anything about these cabins? Are they really obstructed or do you have a full view out of these windows. Anyone ever stay in any of these cabins? Thank you.

If they appear open in the deck plans, most likely they are.

I believe all the newer ships have an extra small boat that blocks the views from these cabins, that's not always shown on the Deck Plans.

Here's photos so you can identify which ships do, and which don't.

 

Jewel > No

 

Pride of Hawaii > Yes

 

Norwegian Pearl > Yes

 

Let's assume the Norwegian Gem will have a boat located there too.

Thank you so much for the fantastic pictures. After looking at them we can forget about these rooms, I'm sure they will end up being completly obstructed views. Goes to show that you can't always go by the deck plans. The people on these boards are the best! I knew I would get an answer here. Thanks again.
