Cabo, Maz & PV excursion question

First time going to Mex Riv (usually go Carrib) 10/28-11/4 on RCCL Vision and thinking about excursions in Cabo, PV & Mazetlan.

 

Interested in 2-4 hour boat/katamaran cruise OR easy day at beach WITH single person floatation devices readily available (don't have to drag for blocks) -

 

I'm not into shopping very much or baking on the beach (unless on float on the water or on a boat... the cool of the water, the breeze of a boat...)

 

All suggestions welcome!

I'm also a solo traveling on a budget.

nope, still trying to figure out what to do. I'm not a beach or shopping girl. Studied Spanish for 8 yrs "back in the day", and with that came a lot of Mexican/Latin American history... want to do/see something cultural, perhaps a teeny bit off the beaten track... but maybe tour a tequila factory, too! :D
