Can anyone give me the low down on this excursion. Is it worth the $90 (apprx.)

Her's what I want to know-

The length of the ride?

What sites do you see?

Is it better to book through the cruiseline or book privately?

What ranch does RCCL use?

Can anyone supply pictures?

If you can answer any or all of my questions I'll be forever grateful.

Thanks , Lori

Hi,

Im not sure which ranch RCCL uses, but we rode with Rancho Ponderosa thru the Crown Princess back in February. I think privately they charge about $60 for a 2+ hour ride.

I'm a competitive equestrian, as is my niece who went with me. I was very impressed with the guides and the horses. All the horses were sound and well cared for. The guides let you trot and canter as well as walk which was nice. The horses are Paso Finos which are gaited so they do a really comfortable almost 2 beat trot gait. My sister in-law was on a horse for the 2nd time, so the beginners in the group took it slower. We crossed over to the north side of the island and the scenery was beautiful - cacti, lizards etc. It was very hot, and sunny so bring a hat!

Good luck!
