Looking for help with cabin selection

Recommended Posts

We are booked on the Serenade in Cabin 9580 on the hump. Aft balcony 7676 has just become available. We have never been in either a hump or aft cabin before. This is for a Panama Canal crossing. Does anyone have any ideas on which would be better?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

The aft cabins have LARGE balconies. The hump cabins are slightly larger, but the balcony does not seem to increase in size. If you're going to be out on the balcony during the transit, you might like the aft. You will be able to see the entire width of the canal, and not just one side of it.

Of course, this opinion is VERY subjective.

Never had either on RCCL. But, for a Canal Crossing I would be inclined to take the aft balcony for a panoramic view of both sides.

We just did a Panama Canal Transit on Serenade and had an Aft Balcony. It was fantastic. We spent the entire day there we'd relax in the lounge chair get up view the locks, view the scenery, talk to the neighbors. It was cabin #1104.

If we ever do another Canal crossing we'll book another aft cabin.
