Car Rental from the Port of Miami

Does anyone know if all the car rental agencies that pick up from the port of Miami take to a location near the port, or if any of them do it at the airport? I know one I called takes you to a location near the port. I thought another said it's to the airport. You can't trust the people at the general number all the time. We are trying to rent a car to do things locally before our flight out that afternoon. If any do the shuttle to the airport, then we could get a smaller car - just check in the luggage at the time we get the car.:D
