Carnival has a 5 day and a 7 day cruise from NOLA. We are currently booked on the 5 day in Sept.

No details yet, but Holland America is going to begin cruising from NO in 2005.

There are several. NCL, RCCL & Carnival. Carnival is permanent and NCL & RCCL do Fall-Winter. RCCL just left. NCL & RCCL do have plans to have future permanent ships. Delta Queen does Mississippi river Cruises and American Barges (think that's the name) does Mississippi river cruises. Occasionally some other cruiselines makes NO a port of call.

Carnival Conquest leaves out of NO and it's wonderful. Went 6/03 to Western Caribbean. It's a new ship (about 1 uear old) and everything was great.
