Moon Handbook on the South Pacific says that "everything" will be closed, and maybe even the day before and day after.

 

If you have been there during that time:

 

Is this true or is it just May 8 that everything closes down.

Will the tour operators still work.

What about the transfers to the ship from hotel.

What did you do if it was for 3 days?

 

Any other tips would be very much appreciated.:)
