Mariner Weather & Clothing

Recommended Posts

Hey New York, I was on the Mariner June the 13th-20th.The weather was nicer than we expected and forecast. Each day called for rain and temps in the 50's.it only rained in Skagway and by midday most days was usually in the 60's,it was 73 in Juneau and people wore shorts. As many folks advised we took clothes good for layering and lightweight waterproof jackets and only ever felt cold when walking on a Glacier. You have a great trip ahead, enjoy.

Layer, Layer, Layer, that is the answer!!! Was there June last year had a real mix of weather from warm to just plain cold and windy. Take gloves, scarf, hat. If the day looks like it's starting cold and wet put on a pair of tights under your jeans, works wonders. Also take warm socks and shoes that are water proofed. You can always tie that extra layer around your waist. It's a wonderful venue! Motto: "Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it".

Have a blast!
