Vision Alaska Formal Nites

I'm still baffled-there are 2 formal nites and 3 sea days if you count Tracy Arm as a sea day

Formal nights are Saturday and Wednesday on the Vison for the Alaska route.:)

what is served on the formal nights? We will probably miss one- our kids probably cannot handle two formal nights- is one better than the other? Is it really horrible/tacky if we decide to go to both to wear teh same outfits?

We cruised on Vision in June and it was not terribly formal. Many men did not wear a suit coat(most had at least a shirt and tie) and many women did not wear dresses. I saw very few people dressed in fancy dresses or tuxedos. I wore the same suit coat and just wore a different tie each night. The second formal night was lobster night and I can't remember on the first(I think I had beef tenderloin). I wouldn't worry about wearing the same thing twice and the food was too good to miss either! They were on Saturday and Wednesday. Our cruise on June 8th-June15th was amazing. I think you will have a great time!!

Don't worry about the same clothes twice--many folks that I've talked to do that (I never noticed)-------I just bring one suit and switch shirt color and tie
