Pick-up time at hotel

I am sailing on the Freedom of the Seas in October. I am staying at the Sleep Inn Dania with 11 others. My transportation company is insisting they pick me up at 11:15. Since I have to go from the hotel in fort lauderale to port of miami. It takes about 45 minutes, but my fear is that at 12:00, it will be so busy.

What is the earliest time I can board the ship?

What time should I get picked up at my hotel?

My guess is they are economizing by picking you up and dropping off someone that they are transporting from the Port to FLL. Sunday traffic should not be too bad, my preference would be about 30 minutes earlier so I am boarding around noon.
