PV PAM: Question re: TAXI'S

Hey Pam..I am one too is nervous about Taxi's and their safety, especially traveling with kids.

 

We will need one from the terminal to the Water Park there. Could you tell me of one I can trust to watch for??

Oh man! The taxi drivers in PV were awesome! We caught one right outside of the terminal to the Los Veranos office. He was great about pointing out things along the way that we could walk to on our way back. The driver on the way back was a riot! They don't have lines down the middle of the cobblestone (or whatever rocks) streets and it is an experience in itself! :)

Did you already book the swim with the dolphins? I know there is one through the ship and am a little nervous about booking independantly but did that with Randi - any info appreciated.

Not to worry. Some of them drive like maniacs, especially the yellow taxis, but in general they are fine! There are white taxis right outside where you will be docked with plenty of suburbans, vans. These are Federal Taxis, thus a higher price. You can walk out to the main highway and you will see loads of yellow taxis for a bit less money. Don't worry about it and have a great time!

How is that water park out there? It looks like fun!
