Well when I tried to book two private excursions today this happened.....

They told me they couldn't book me because Carnival buys up all the excursions for the day and I would HAVE to book through them. :mad:

Yes, this happens quite often. There are some timeslots or tours that are created for cruisers only (due to timing or other reasons).

 

These tours are only available thru the cruiseships to allow cruisers the opportunites to enjoy. Other slots are open for hotel guest that don't have limited timeslots.

 

If these slots were open to the public.. cruisers could easily be shut out.
