Dining at Atlantis...

We will be docked in Nassau early and staying until about midnight... Our day in Nassau happens to be our wedding anniversary, so I was thinking that maybe we could plan our evening activities for Atlantis ... maybe have dinner, walk around a bit, see the aquarium....

Couple of questions:

  • Atlantis restaurant recommendation? Type of cuisine, prices, etc.
  • Should we make a dinner reservation before we sail?
  • Will we have to pay anything to get into Atlantis or can we count on the meal being our only expense there?
  • will we be able to do the aquarium?
  • Recommendations other than Atlantis for a nice romantic evening in Nassau... we will probably spend the early part of the day at the beach, though we haven't decided which one yet.

thanks...

There are far better restaurants in Nassau than at Atlantis..

Cafe Matisse, Sun And, Graycliffs, Chez Willies and Villagios (at Cable Beach) are by far a better choice. These are also more quiet and romantic.. not packed to the gills with families.

If you still want to choose Atlantis, the gourmet restaurants usually need advanced reservations (some can be weeks in advance depending on time), My pick would be Mesa Grill (not gourmet, but excellent) or maybe Dune at the ocean club.

The aquarium is open for free after the security goes away.. around 7:30pm. You can walk thru, but there's no tours.
