fajitapita Posted August 17, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2004 O.K., here's a silly thread... just got back a week ago from Alaska on the Serenade of the Seas. When we boarded in Vancouver, we were handed small (free) samples of Bahamamamas. This seemed "sacrilegious" to me as we were nowhere near tropical waters... Hurricanes, "Sex on the Beach", Bahamamamas just don't cut it when you're cruising next to a glacier! So, I've thought of some new drink names for RCI's Alaskan itinerary Vancouver Vice Skagwaytini Hubbard Highball Juneau Julep Betcha Ketchikan Cocktail Can you think of some more? Maybe RCI will read this and take our advice! ;)

baseballmom Posted August 17, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2004 Hmmmm...OK, I'll give it a try: Glacier Gimlet Mendenhall Martini (with one big jumbo olive?) Sleddog Sling Midnight Sunset (instead of Tequila Sunrise?) I'll stop now before I start with the puns and really cause everyone to groan. Merion_Mom Posted August 18, 2004 #10 Share Posted August 18, 2004 Now cut that out, Sea Island Lady! If you want to do that, you'll just have to start a thread called "What should RCCL call its frou-frou drinks on the Hawaii itineraries?" :D :D Carol
Sea Island Lady Posted August 18, 2004 #11 Share Posted August 18, 2004 I thought that maybe this thread might need another topic. After all...how many drinks can we name after one itinerary? OK...how about Europe! :D Just kidding. :(

baseballmom Posted August 18, 2004 #14 Share Posted August 18, 2004 Carol, if you're going to start tossing around the puns, be careful what you throw my way because KetchIkan. I think I just made myself sick. Maybe I'll go make myself a Totem Pole: equal parts Bailey's, Kahula, amaretto, and cream. Laurie
