crazy4cruzin Posted July 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2007 Friends of mine are on a Med. cruise and will be in Capri for the day on their 25th anniversary and asked me to find out for them any suggestions for great restaurants with incredible views. They want this day to be memorable. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
wripro Posted July 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 9, 2007 It's hard to avoid a great view in Capri. A special place is the Hotel Quisisana right in the center of town. They have a couple of restaurants with excellent food and wonderful ambience.
emcee207 Posted July 10, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2007 Giada deLaurentis of the Food Network just had a great one hour special entirely about Capri and focused on restaurants.Check out the foodtv web site, foodtv.com to see when it will be reaired. She visited restaurant "La Cappanina" and "La Polencella" which both looked lovely as well as cocktails on the terrace of Hotel Quisisana.

susietb Posted July 10, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 10, 2007 If you don't want to take our a second mortgage for lunch: I think you might like one of our favorites "da Gemma". They have a fabulous antipasti table. They are up the steps of the cathedral from the main square where you get off the finicular. Also, Restaurant "Aurora". Great pizzza and calzone as well as traditional dishes. Another one of our favorites is the restaurant at Villa Brunella. Lovely people and fabulous views, serving incredibly good "ravioli caprese". If you want to combine a "swim day" with eating, try "La Fontellina" down by the faragloni rocks for fabulous seafood anything.
