Airport to port in Barcelona

Recommended Posts

If you do a search on these boards you will find a lot of info (much of it redundant) on the airport to the port. But, time wise, it generally takes about 20 minutes to get from the airport to the cruise port (the new bridge helps reduce the time). As to the cost of a taxi (you did not ask) you can expect to pay somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 to 30 Euros depending on traffic and the amount of luggage (taxis charge extra for luggage). You will also find that its easy to get a taxi from the airport (there is a very organized taxi queue just like in the states) and the taxis are clean, efficient, have meters, and are fine.

Yes - It is about 20 minutes.

You can hop on the train right at the airport and take it to the Plaza Catalunya. From there, it is a quick cab ride to the pier. You will save a lot of money that way and the train is fun and convenient.

If you want to save even more money, you can take the Metro from the Plaza Catalunya to the bottom of the Ramblas (2 stops) and take a cab from there.

It all depends on how much luggage you have.
