diving in Thailand

We will be on a port stop in Phuket on Oceania Nautica in December from 9am to 6pm. Anybody, used a dive op there on a cruise?

 

can anybody comment on the diving in Phuket or nearby Islands (Phi Phi etc)?

 

We will also be going to Koh Samui afterwards on a post cruise land vacation. Any good dive experiences, dive ops in that area.

I suggest that you contact This member from the scubadiving.com message board. She lives in Phuket and is quiet knowedgable about the area.

I dove from Phuket for a 1/2 day a few years ago and it was very good. Everything was in metric so know your conversions.
