dsa10 Posted August 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2004 We are first-time cruisers, and are wondering whether there will be room in the cabin (Sky Deck cabin with veranda) to store our empty suitcases once we have unpacked them. Is there some kind of overhead space like in hotel rooms? Or can we get the steward to chuck them somewhere for the duration of the cruise? Our suitcases will be small to medium size - nothing enormous. I hope we won't be tripping over them for the entire week.
mazza Posted August 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2004 They will probably fit under the bed without any problems - there is a surprising amount of space there. Our steward put one of ours that we didn't need in a 'locker' on the first day of the cruise, and brought in back the evening before. No dramas at all. Seabee Posted August 18, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2004 Mine always go under the bed. I would be surprised if you fill up the available storage in your cabin....they are very efficient.
clopaw Posted August 18, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2004 We have enormous suitcases and they fit under the bed, so don't worry.

Randyk47 Posted August 18, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 18, 2004 I'll never forget how embarrassed I was after tripping over our empty bags for the first couple of days of our first cruise when the steward suggested I stuff them under the bed. Kind of a "duh" moment. :o
