Diamond Princess best & worst balconies

We're booked on the Diamond Princess for the Hawaii cruise on Dec 3, 2007.

 

I have booked a BC balcony #A247 and would like feedback on this one and any other balcony cabins good and bad. We can still change if this one is not recommended. I wanted a balcony that is covered and private and a cabin that is not under a public area.

Your cabin will be covered (by the Lido Deck balconies above you) and somewhat private, although someone (ship's personnel) standing in the bridge wing would be able to see your balcony somewhat, as they would most balconies along the sides of the ship.
