Beach walking distance from crown bay pier

Can anyone tell me if there is a nice beach within walking distance from CRown Bay dock? Our snuba shore excursion was cancelled, and we hope to do a simple beach instead. We don't want to take taxis or other transportation....just want to walk there.

Yes, you can walk to Lindbergh Bay (also called Emerald Beach). Its flat with sidewalk if you go right from cruise dock, left by Nisky shopping center, another left in front of the shopping center, straight and then left at light by the airport, Emerald Resort is shortly thereafter and you can enter through the hotel entrance to get to the beach.

 

The other route would be left out of cruise dock and up over a little hill, no sidewalks... its a little bit shorter when driving but the flat/sidewalk route is easier for walking.
