Those poor kids!!!!!

Recommended Posts

I am doing some research for our upcoming European cruise. I always look at what the cruise line offers first, and then research independent vendors after that.

Well, imagine my horror, when I read on the Carnival website:

"Also, children under 9 years of age are not allowed to reach the top of the Tower for security reasons."

I know that they are trying to tell us that children under 9 can't climb the tower, but now I have an image of a large Tower Guard tossing young kids over the edge before they can get all the way to the top!

I hope they have a Beware of Falling Children sign posted!

Just a chuckle to lighten your Thursday afternoon!

This is from the Pisa Tower web site:

Children under the age of 8 are not allowed under any circumstances on these visits.

Children between 8 and 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult and held by the hand all the time.

Teenagers between 12 and 18 years of age are allowed on the tower only if accompanied by responsible adults
