Smoking on Silversea

Regent has recently announed a ban on smoking both in staterooms (suites) and on balconies. Any indication that Silversea has a similar policy change on the horizon?

Haven't heard that yet. However, on the two larger ships, Shadow and Whisper, there is this Humidor with such efficient ventilation directly out to the chimney that people smoking there will leave no smell outside whatsoever. So the hard core smokers can smoke to their content there, and there is not much problem of second hand smoke in the rest of the ship.
