PhinsAndGills Posted July 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2007 We're going to: St. Maarten Dominica Grenada Venezuela (Margarita Island) Aruba I think we're all set for St. Maarten (we're going on a sunset kayack trip because we're there kind of late) and Aruba (I'm loving the look of the Jolly Pirate Swing, Swim, Snorkel trip). I think we're going to do the Champaign Snorkel tour in Dominica. However, I'm at a COMPLETE loss for what to do in Grenada (considering Mandoo tours, but I think it'll be a little too "tame" for my active group) and Margarita Island - any suggestions? Rare YoPhilly Posted July 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2007 On Dominica, skip the snorkel tour and go, go, go to Ti Tou Gorge. It's a natural rock pool in a steep gorge. It's the best excursion on Dominica!! http://www.visit-dominica.com/querydetail.cfm?Id=306 On Grenada, you can hike to the waterfalls in the national park or take a 4x4 ride through the jungle to a mineral pool. St. Maarten - if you like adventure, try booking the racing yachts. If you're not familiar, they're racing yachts from the America's Cup on which all the passengers participate in a race against another yacht. Lots of fun and excitement and speed!! Aruba - best for beach, snorkel, etc. Margarita Island - maybe a catamaran sail?
