Condition of Explorer of Seas

Now that this ship is 6 years old is it showing it's age? How were the carpets and was there mildew in the showers? Just wondering - thinking about cruising on her in April 2005.

In December of 2003 she was still very beautiful.

The Explorer didn't make it's maiden voyage until fall of 2000. The Voyager made its debut in 1999.

I know the Explorer has been in dry dock at least once since its debut.

We were on in last September and it was in fantastic shape!

[color=blue]I was just on the Explorer, got back on the 8th of this month. It's in great condition - the showers were spotless! To be honest, I didn't pay much attention to the carpets. If they were worn, it certainly wasn't noticable. Everything was clean and maintained. We also sailed on the Explorer in August of 2001, and I didn't see any significant difference between then and now.[/color]

[color=#0000ff]I suppose if some people go on cruises to scrutinize every square inch of the ship, they can probably find something to complain about, I'm sure. Then again, if a stranger came into my house they might find something to pick on too! The point is, we had a fantastic vacation on the Explorer, and that's what it's all about. I'm sure if you sailed on this ship you'd have a great time![/color]
