Trouble ! Hobby to Galveston

As I had done before, I booked Enterprise Car rental for a car from Hobby to Galveston for drop-off. When I tried to book a car after the cruise (back to Hobby), the national sales office won't confirm but said to call the Galveston

Enterprise office. I finally reached a nice lady, she said that they were no

longer allowed to pick up at the ships dock. Has anyone had a recent experience ? What is the best way to get from Hobby to Galveston on a Sat.

and back to Hobby after the ship docks on Sunday.

Maybe this one of the reasons ships are leaving Galveston.

Pre-book a shuttle back. Yes, it is more expensive but they pick you up at the dock and drive to the airport. Pre-bboking means there is space for you.
