Paris Airport Shuttle

Recommended Posts

Has anyone used the company called "Paris Airport Shuttle" which,

curiously enough,

is on the web at www.paris-airport-shuttle.com?

Any raves or rants regarding this or any other Paris airport shuttle companies?

We're trying to book transportation from Orly to our hotel in Montparnasse/Luxembourg garden area and then to De Gaulle a couple days later for onward flight. We are 4 people, post cruise, so probably more luggage than we started with ;) and definitely less patience and stamina!

Thanks for any opinions.

Hi there Globalnomads. Fancy finding you here.LOL! Our hotel actually recommended this company and we have booked them on the net. I did mention to them in the special comments area of the booking that we would have been travelling for nearly 2 months so may have lots of luggage. This forewarned them but did not seem to trouble them.

A word of caution about shuttles -- and this probably pertains to most companies.

Book it for far earlier than you think is necessary. I learned this the hard way when our shuttle driver last fall, who picked us up at the time *they* determined based on our flight time, then drove around Paris for 50 more minutes picking up other passengers and finally delivered us to the airport *after* our seats were already given away.

(the whole sordid tale is here:Lie to your shuttle driver, lie lie!

I vowed then to give the shuttle company an earlier departure time from now on. So last month we told them we were flying out an hour earlier than we actually were.

We *still* got there with literally only enough time to get through check in, passport control and security, then board our flight with zero time to spare. And that was leaving our Paris hotel FOUR hours before our flight.

There's not many worse travel feelings than sitting helpless in a shuttle thinking you'll miss your flight. So lie to your shuttle driver!
