Nyc Triathalon 7/22 Carnival Miracle!

I just found out the ny triatholon is on sunday july 22nd, and we are leaving on the Carnival Miracle that day. They are closing 12th avenue from 57th up to the bronx, from 4:30 am to 11:30 am. Are we going to have traffic problems coming up from the Lincoln Tunnel to 55th street where the port is? Do you think it will be a traffic disaster, should we arrive later than 11:30, or should it be fine.
