Molokini??

Anyone done the snorkeling excursion to Molokini through NCL? It looks pretty cool... is it worth $96?

I didn't do the Molokini trip thru the ship but went on my own thru Pride Charters on the Pride of Maui. Water was really clear but I was a little disappointed cuz we didn't see a lot of fish and not a lot of coral either. The coral they have wasn't colorful and brilliant like you see on tv so I guess my expectations were too high. I paid about $80/pp on my own. The lunch on the catamaran was great and they provided free mai tais too :p yummy & beer. Burgers were awesome and really hit the spot. We went to turtle town on the way back which I enjoyed more - a lot more coral and we saw several turtles swimming but not very clear water.

 

If I make it back to the islands, I'll do a snorkeling tour in Kona instead. Kona is an awesome place.
