2007 Annual Gothic Cruise & Masquaerade Ball

Just read on line that there are already over 600 people signed up for this event on the Glory on October 6th, 2007.

I don't want to get flamed, just wanted to give anyone a "heads up" if they prefer not to have to spend 7 days in this type of atmosphere.

My family would not enjoy it....

A goth cruise? Not on halloween?

A few more observations: All in fun of course.....to each their own!

Embarking will be a problem as the metal detector will get a work out!

Chapel will be empty as will the disco and piano bar.

No need to stock the shelves of sun tan lotion.

Ship will have to special order in a shipment of t-shirts with logo in BLACK.

and......

What the heck do they wear on formal night?

So funny yall! We definitely wont be on that cruise! My kids are scared of Goths. When we pass the local high school, LOTS of kids are in all black and the boys asked why so I explained to them what Goths were and now when we pass by, they say "Mom, I dont want to go to that school". I have to laugh.:D

The pool will not be very crowded either. This would be an interesting cruise. I hope they have a good time.

hey how about getting them hooked up with Saints and Sinners Cruise?

Who are Saints and Sinners....i see a lot of countdown tickers with that logo?

Not all goths are scary weird people. Some are even Christians. Some may choose not to take this cruise, but my children are not scared of gothic people, of course their former pentacost strict mother used to be one:eek:

I'd much prefer to be on a cruise with 600 "goths" than with 600 frat boys, or 600 football players!

Yeah, how about NOT  :p

We are not goth, we are just cruise critic members who love to cruise... we get new CC'ers every year... ANYONE is welcome to join. The name came about with the first CC group cruise we planned, on the Sensation (SINsation) out of New Orleans (where the Saints play), hence Saints and Sinners... People always enjoy making more out of it than it is... we have people anywhere from small children, up to over 80 years old... single, married, divorced, etc. The only thing we have in common is a love for fun and cruising.
