Mercury Cabin 1230

That would be the service area for the room stewards and service elevators. Our daughter stayed in that room a couple of years ago and said she didnt notice any "extra" noise other than the usual hallway banter. Great area one floor above the pool area and cafe and easy access to quiet areas to the back of the ship!

We've been on Mercury twice and Galaxy once and area booked on Mercury again in 2009. We love the smaller size and really don't care for the glitz of the larger ships. These two are older but they are in good shape and you will enjoy the personal service. We have CC 1241 booked for 2009 to Hawaii and can't wait!

Does anybody know how the Mercury inside cabins are on the Panorama Deck? We've never been on that ship, and I see that there is a "Grand Foyer" and I wasn't sure if it is a busy deck or not... We're in 8089. Is it noisy? what is on the inside area? Thanks for all your help!

We are looking forward to our trip. We have had inside cabins before - we don't spend a lot of time in our cabin so would rather cruise twice inside than once with a balcony! (unless the deal was really good) We thought the location looked good, but are glad of your opinion.

We are booked in this cabin for an upcoming cruise Sydney - Auckland. Can anyone comment on the location please. What is the empty space beside it?

Thanks

Sheila

We actually stayed in the inside cabin 1234 (right down the corridor)Mercury last October. It was great. We had never stayed inside before and found the room to be arranged quiet well. Actually felt we had more space than our last ocean view the year before. Very quiet area and convenient to the spa and stairs for easy access to buffet etc. Quick getaway to the outside and some rarely used lounge chairs in a quiet area. We'd actually pick that room again, especially if it meant two cruises insead on one, anyday. Enjoy!
