Bannister, Geoff’s or Caulker??

I've only been to Bannister, but from what I've read on the boards, there doesn't seem to be a universal opinion about which location is best for snorkeling. Bannister doesn't have a barrier reef off the island -- you have to take a short boat ride to get there. Caulker doesn't really have a beach at all. Geoff's is probably your best bet for the two, though what I would do is book a combination beach/snorkeling tour on Bannister.

Have only done land vacation there, but there snorkelling is fantastic, we snorkelled off the Reef and saw, Rays, Manatees, turtles that where actually swimming inches from my tummy as I lay on the water looking down, nurse sharks, grouper fish (big ones) and then the usual little fish, I didn't see any barracuda on my trip to belize but have done in cayman. Get to Chaulker its the closet to the reef where most of the sealife is. Chaulker is lovely little island, had our best lunch of Chicken, Rice and Peas there, and there are no cars allowed so every just strolls along very relaxing place.
