Carry Snorkel Gear Through The Baths?

I'm wondering if we should bother trying to carry our snorkeling equipment through the baths so we can do some snorkeling in some of the waters just off the rock formations... is there likely to be any more interesting sealife than what we'd see right off the beach? I think lugging fins would be too much, but maybe just a mask and snorkel?

I don't know that you'll find much need for it inside the rocky area, but on either end you may want to snorkel. Of course, you also might want your hands free while you're climbing through the rocks. If I go back, I've decided to take one of those mesh backpacks to carry my gear while I'm going through the rocks. If you don't have one, check any store that caters to competitive swimmers- they use them for their equipment.
