Transportation from South Shore LI to Brooklyn

In the past we have taken a Town Car from our house to the pier. With the price of gas being what it is, the cost has risen to near $200.00 each way. I can take a local cab which would run $100.00 with a tip, assuming the car makes it there.

 

Does anyone know of a van or shuttle that runs from LI to the pier?

Why don't you just drive? I live on the South Shore and we've driven to the Brooklyn pier . You park literally next to the ship and it takes five minutes to pay and leave at the end of the cruise.

the other way is LIRR to the Brooklyn terminal of the LIRR and then a car service to the Pier. The Car service will be about $15.00. Unfortunately many times it means changing at Jamaica...
