Deep Sea Fishing Excursion

Has anyone done a Deep Sea Fishing during their cruise. We are doing the Eastern Caribbean aboard the Freedom in Dec and were thinking about booking a Fishing Charter out of St. Thomas. However, I am almost sure the ship will not let you bring catch aboard. Thought about looking into cost of packing catch and shipping back to states. Any suggestions or feedback?

We did Belize and it was catch and release.

We did it and THEY kept it to give to an orphanage to feed to the kids... I didn't really buy that lol

Thanks for the info...were those trips inshore bottom fishing or deep sea trolling?

You might be able to find a local restaurant that could cook it up for you for lunch. My husband always goes deep sea fishing in Aruba and there was a couple from a cruise that split his last charter. He took them to a local restaurant with a couple pounds of the wahoo they caught and had a very fresh lunch.
