wasiii Posted July 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2007 .....I've searched the forum and read about a dozen threads on the above, but I have not read about anyone bringing more than one bottle per person on board and having them confiscated during embarkation. Has anyone had extra bottles confiscated? Inquiring fine wine/champagne enthusiasts want to know!
*Mach* Posted July 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2007 I'm taking a bottle of Dom in my carry on and all the other good stuff in my checked luggage... Seems simple enough to me...
Leo Jay Posted July 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2007 I've never really had any reason to pay attention, but are there even Carnival personnel checking the carryons? I'd think it would be just customs/homeland security.
shandabyb Posted August 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2007 Last cruise my DH and I had 2 bottles each - the security (not Carnival uniformed) gave us a hard time and caused a line to form behind us. After a little sweet talking they finally slapped our hands and let us through. Once we were throught the initial security no one else even thought about looking in or at our bags. vjmatty Posted August 1, 2007 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2007 We brought one box in my Dad's carryon and one box in our checked bag... since we had more adults than boxes I guess were were ok because nothing was taken ;)
