Vancouver Hotel Offer...

Anyone still needing a hotel in Vancouver for this summer, here's another offer I found on Travelzoo (not quite as good as the Pan Pacific deal, but still looks pretty good). Hilton Vancouver Metrotown (in Burnaby -- not sure if that is very close to downtown Vancouver) is offering rooms for CAD $129 per night from now until Sept. 30. (a few blackout dates). Not close to downtown - it is at least a 15 - 20 minute rapid transit trip to the downtown core + plus it is a 2 zone bus fare - single fare is $3.00 - it is adjacent to the largest shopping mall in the region so if you want to walk through a large mall and not see the sight of the city this would be the place for you to stay.

Thanks for the information, Dennis. Luckily, we already have a super apt. (at least I hope it is super!) booked for our pre-cruise week in Vancouver -- on the 23rd floor of a glass tower on Alberni Street.

I just included the info about this offer for those that are still looking and don't want to pay $200 or more per night.
