Condition of the TP ??

I'm interested in one of the TP Alaska 08 cruises, but have some concerns about the perceived ongoing reduction in Princess standards.

 

Is this boat tired ?

 

When did the boat have it's last refurb .. and more importantly when will it get it's next ?

 

Any advice/opinions much appreciated

I agree with Kellie, she's a real beauty. If you like the looks of the large, modern mega liners, she's not for you. This ship has class and some great passengers too!

Hope you'll enjoy the TP--we're going on our 3rd cruise on her next year

 

This is a totally different experience than a large cruise ship.

 

I really love the large ships--but the TP is really special

No complaints on the ship itself either. The staff around the pool could have done a better job, and the grumpy guy in the boutique appeared to not enjoy his job at all. The waiters were great and our room steward Carlos (in the aft 7th deck) was cheery ALL the time!!! Be sure to have a balcony for Alaska!!
