Carnival Pride Cabin Location Question???

Could Someone who has recently been on the CARNIVAL PRIDE, Mexican Riviera Route help me?? As far as Great Viewing, the Mexican Coastline...When Choosing a Cabin on the PRIDE, Isn't the STARBOARD (Right) Side the Side You want to be on???

The port side gets the view of the coastline on the way down. But, the starboard side gets the view of the coasline on the way back to Long Beach. We were lucky and had an aft wrap around so we had the view of the coastline for both directions.
